Muslim Ummah's Upsurge will Release Shaikh Omar
Blind Ph.D in U.S. Cell Refuses to Compromise
The Committee to Free Shaikh Omar 'Abdel Rahman (SOAR)
made a systematic effort to reach out to the shielded middle class sections of the
USA's Muslims at the ISNA convention held at a suburb of Chicago from September 1-4.
Out of the approximately 5,000 Muslims who attended the
convention, 1,100 received literature from the Commitee to Free SOAR. The response was almost 100% positive. (One pro-Mubarak Egyptian nationalist tried to be abusive). The work was done by unpaid volunteers for hours on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
It appears that the only reason Muslims in America have not been
able to take political action in support of the Shaikh is owing to the silence of their self-appointed leaders (who use control based on their financial resources).
SOAR's Committee was able to do its task owing to support from a
group which allowed a big portrait of the Shaikh to be put up at its booth.
The booth was in the LAST ROW of the ISNA bazaar but the power of the Shaikh's spirituality and suffering attracted just about everybody who passed by and gradually the word spread.
INTERVIEWS: SOAR's Convenor Dr. Kaukab Siddique was interviewed
during the Convention by a number of Muslim media outlets. The most important among these is an Arab Muslim TV program based in Chicago and a Turkish Islamic newspaper based in Ankara, Turkey. Several new Arabic publicatons also interviewed him.
MAIN POINTS about SHAIKH OMAR 'ABDEL RAHMAN:
1. He is the teacher and leader of the ideology of international
Jihad.
2. He has never taught terrorism.
3. Egypt's criminal dictator (who has 70,000 political prisoners)
Mubarak and Israel have worked for the continued imprisonment of the blind Shaikh.
4. His trial was a farce, with an intimidated jury, a Zionist
Judge (supported by a Mubarak-supported Muslim "lobby" in D.C.)
5. There were two government witnesses, one an Egyptian intelligence officer paid $1,000,000 by the FBI and the other an Egyptian traitor paid one $100,000 by the FBI.
6. Most Muslims do not know that Shaikh Omar Abdel Rahman was
NOT tried for the World Trade Center bombing. The WTC case was used to create guilt by association.
7. The Shaikh is being kept in solitary confinement in a cell in
Rochester, Minnesota.
8. SOAR says: NO COMPROMISE WITH ISRAEL. All of Palestine belongs
to Islam.
9. Clinton (out of his 'love of Islam') has denied SOAR even ON
EID the right to pray with other Muslims in prison. CLINTON MADE U.S. history by issuing a special order to cut off the Shaikh FROM ALL OUTSIDE CONTACTS. It's an attempt to bury the Shaikh alive.
10. The victory of Islam all over the world, inshallah, will be
linked to a global upsurge to free the Shaikh. Already voices have been raised for the Shaikh in SOUTH AFRICA and BANGLADESH. In the Philippines an unknown Islamic group is calling for the release of Shaikh Omar, Ramzi Yusuf and Ahmad Ajaj.

SOAR's Committee desperately needs funds. These funds are needed for political, journalistic work, within the law of the land, to mobilize and organize the Muslims of America. No money is given to the Shaikh's family, associates or attorneys.
