Amazing US move in Syria:

Please scroll to end. It is true.

Syria: Jaysh al-Islam, an FSA faction, has complained that the Assad regime is violating the cease fire. It has advanced into an area just outside Damascus

US air force bombed al-Raqqa, the IS capital, leaving several civilians dead.

A force from Jordan, backed by the US, captured the Syria - Iraq border crossing at Tafnis with US air support on March 5. However on March 6, IS counterattacked and took the crossing back.

Hadith of the Week

"Abu Huraira, r.a., narrates that the messenger of Allah, pbuh, said: : The ENTIRE earth has been made for me pure and a masjid." [Hadith , sahih Muslim, kitabus salat, Tirmizey Jami, kitabus siir, Ibn Maja, Sunan, kitabut taharah.]

Comment by Kaukab Siddique: The teachings of Islam do not support the building of grand, fancy mosques, which I call the million dollar "white elephants." The mosque in Madinah, built by the Prophet, pbuh, was extremely simple. In our own times, the Taliban movement which fought a superpower came out of a mosque which looks like a mud hut.

Personal

Here is a Mosque we can be proud of by American Standards, InshaAllah. Locally Funded.

Masjid al-Ihsan, 3723 Gwynn Oaks Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21207.

On March 5, I joined the first prayer at Masjid al-Ihsan in Baltimore, Maryland. It was 'Asr. It's the first mosque built from the ground up in Baltimore City by the African American community. I also heard the first speech on Islam in the mosque in which everyone, including non-Muslims, was welcomed.

It is very neat and clean and open to women and men within Islamic rulings. Very impressive! It took ten years of hard work by the community as it had to face various prejudices and obstacles owing to its location in the heart of the population.

I thank Sis. Chekeisha el-Amin for urging me to visit the mosque though it is 70 miles from where i live.

Strangely enough I thought I was lost but, as I drove up, I met an elderly African American brother who knew me from about 20 years back. He gave me a welcome as if I was coming home.

Revolutionary Khutba

Islamic View of the Brawling American Politicians: All of them Want to Destroy Islamic Independence.
Honor of the Prophet, pbuh, is above all. Mumtaz Qadri Shaheed has Opened Way for Pakistan's Renewal.

On March 4, 2016 Br. Kaukab Siddique gave his 5th khutba this year at masjid Jamaat al-Muslimeen in central Baltimore, Maryland, As it's a small masjid, here is an outline of the khutba for distribution on line.

Text #1

Thinketh he that none hath power over him?
The Qur'an 90:5

Text #2

From the Sunan of Abu Dawud. Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When Allah has a good purpose for a ruler, He appoints for him a sincere minister who reminds him if he forgets and helps him if he remembers; but when Allah has a different purpose from that for him. He appoints for him an evil minister who does not remind him if he forgets and does not help him if he remembers.
Grade : Sahih (Al-Albani)

  1. America is in the throes of its democratic process. We should watch and analyze to be able to understand how corrupt and ruthless are America's leaders. They are slamming each other and uncovering their hidden evil

  2. When it comes to Muslims, African Americans and Hispanics, the right wing seems to have lost all sense of decency and humanity. The surging power of crowds bought and self-glorified through the use of millions of dollars have made these politicians think that they can do and say what they want. They are provocative and full of threats and hidden agendas.

  3. The left wing is even more dangerous. It wants to use, exploit and subvert Muslims in particular and minorities in general to fight Muslims all over the world. Muslims to them seem to be cannon fodder and servants of intelligence agencies. America suffered heavily in Iraq with almost 5000 killed and 80,000 wounded, many of them incapacitated for life. The new plan is to use "Muslims" against Muslims.

  4. Muslims must not be lured into the Left wing trap of "Islam is a religion of peace." Nor should they be scared of the Trumps and others into thinking that their end is near. Fear and insecurity is being promoted by "Muslim" groups linked to the government.

  5. The plan seems to be to stampede the Muslims through Right Wing scare tactics into the web of the Left's "Islam is a religion of peace." That's the left's way of saying that any Muslim who resists occupation with weapons is a terrorist. Only one who surrenders and wants "peace" is a Muslim, as the regime's "Muslim" groups are repeating endlessly.

  6. Neither the Right nor the Left will speak against Israel or even analyze or explain pro-Israeli policies. The media are peppered with Zionist Jews who make sure that Israeli moves and atrocities are not publicized or discussed.

  7. So Muslims, beware : The Prophet, pbuh, did not vote for or support the blunt Abu Lahab, or the abusive Abu Jahal or the sly Abu Sufian. He was absolutely non-compromising on rejection of kufr and affirmation of TAWHEED, against racism, tribalism, gender superiority and slavery.

  8. Even the slightest cooperation with oppressors is strictly forbidden by Allah Almighty. [11:113]

Part 2.

  1. The think tanks which study Muslim behavior are aware that the way to destroy Islam is to attack the Prophet, pbuh, and his wives. In the daily lives of the Muslims, Muhammad, pbuh, Ayesha, r.a., and his other wives and his male and female companions have been the sources of our distinct culture and way of life.

  2. In America, the yahood have succeeded in trivializing Jesus, pbuh, They make jokes about him, fabricate dirty stories about him and even include his name in profanities and vicious art work. Christians are helpless. Even homosexuality has the support of the State.

  3. They want to do the same to Muhammad, pbuh. Systematic attempts are underway in hard core Muslim countries to trivialize and insult the Prophet, pbuh, and Ayesha, r.a.

  4. In Pakistan, the only country created in the name of Islam, the attack on Muhammad, pbuh, took a very serious turn. In the capital, Islamabad, a general supported by America and Israel attacked and demolished the Red Mosque and the women's seminary attached to it. Those killed in that assault included hundreds of young women.

  5. Pakistanis were surprised and were so divided by their sects that they could do nothing.

  6. This helplessness of the Muslims so emboldened the regime that it decided to open the gates of blasphemy of the Prophet, pbuh.

  7. One agent of the West successfully infiltrated Pakistan to the extent that he became the Governor of Punjab, Pakistan's biggest province. His task according to the law was to make sure there were no insults against the Prophet, pbuh. He was duty bound to defend Islam. Instead he took the lead to ease first and then attempt to erase the laws which make blasphemy a felony.. Pakistan's foundation is honor and love of the Prophet, pbuh.

  8. This Governor openly claimed that the law against blasphemy was a "black law." [Racist comments are part of the language of Pakistani upper classes.] At that point a soldier in his own security unit, an ordinary Muslim named Mumtaz Qadri, killed the governor.

  9. The regime arrested him and sentenced him to death but could not kill him because of huge populat support for Mumtaz Qadri.

  10. The regime could not excute him right away. As time passed, under directions from America, the military created a mist of propaganda againt "extremism" in the country. When the regime thought the moment was right, the regime executed him early in the morning of February 29.

  11. It was a fatal error. Within 24 hours there was an outburst of tremendous love and sorrow for Mumtaz Qadri. Large crowds gathered in every city. Millions participated in his funeral in Rawalpindi. Such an outpouring of emotion has never been seen in Pakistan on this scale. The love of the Prophet, pbuh, brought together sects who had been squabbling for decades.

  12. It is our duty as Muslims in America to speak against the cartoons of the Prophet, pbuh, propagated by Zionist groups in the name of "freedom of expression." Non-Muslims should know that if they want to be our friends, they have to respect the Prophet, pbuh. Don't kill or hurt anyone but make it clear to them, the Prophet, pbuh, is nearer to us in love and respect than our own selves and his wives are as our mothers. [33:6]

du'a: O Allah, we ask for health, jobs, Islamic spouses and children. We ask for understanding of the Qur'an and the hadith. We ask for forgiveness and compassion. Give victory O Allah to the Islamic battle formations. Give us the unity to liberate Palestine.

Like Father, Like Son: Racism & the Government in Oregon
by Sis. Aisha [Jamaat al-Muslimeen]

The Father

Cliven and Ammon Bundy, father and son, respectively, are in federal custody. Cliven and 18 others are in custody for the 2014 armed stand off at his Nevada ranch, which involved supporters crossing state lines with weapons, to help him "defend" his land. Faced with hundreds of armed White people, the federal agents backed down. Some of the charges include the assault of a federal officer. He owes over $1 million in grazing fees to the federal government and refuses to pay it. He has maintained that the government has engaged in price gouging. Attorney General Loretta Lynch said, "Today's actions make clear that we will not tolerate the use of threats or force against federal agents who are doing their jobs. We will continue to protect public land on behalf of the American people, uphold federal law, and ensure that those who employ violence to express their grievances with the government will be apprehended and held accountable for their crimes." Bundy's sons: Melvin, David, Ammon, and Ryan were also arrested and face a slew of other charges related to the 41 day stand off at the wildlife refuge in Burns, Oregon.
(Courtesy of UPI.com)

The Sons

Ammon Bundy, along with his brother Ryan, were charged with 15 others in the Malheur Wildlife Refuge standoff, which lasted for over a month and involved a confrontation with federal agents that led to the death of activist LaVoy Finicum. Ryan Bundy, who was also wounded in this particular confrontation, and LaVoy were confronted by state troopers at a traffic stop. A total of twenty-five people have been arrested for being involved in this armed stand-off. Among the people arrested was a very confused and brainwashed Native American from the Tulalip Reservation, 22 year old Eric Lee Flores. This weekend the young father would have been married but, FBI agents thwarted his plans. He was also going to enlist in the U.S. Army. Some people, including Mel Sherman, Chairman of the Tulalip Tribes, are baffled as to how a Native American could get involved with White supremacists' cause, especially since the Burns Paiute Tribe in Oregon protested the Malheur Wildlife's existence on sacred ground. Now, Eric Flores may be serving "his" country through a prison sentence.

How this ends is interesting since FBI agents have accosted and murdered so many unarmed Muslim and Black civilians for thought-crimes.

Non-Muslims Supporting Muslims: The Aafia Case Appeal & Stiff Attitude of CAIR Rep.
by Sis. Karin Friedemann [Boston]

Saturday February 27, the ISBCC in Roxbury (Boston) held a well-attended event called "Mercy and Justice" which welcomed a rally led by Veterans for Peace and included Quakers and other peace activist groups in a statement of solidarity with their Muslim neighbors. Imam Talib Mandee, who is a veteran, and Rev James Todd gave a convocation. Many veterans spoke, including a very old WWII veteran, some emphasizing Muslim veterans and others saying war is bad and we are not enemies.

The event was attended by Boston police commissioner Bob Evans who spoke on behalf of the Mayor saying "We love Muslims."

VFP Statement of Solidarity

"We, as veterans of the United States military, stand against the targeting, hatred, bigotry, and Islamophobia currently being directed towards the Muslim community.

Muslims are not the enemy. There are 1.6 billion Muslims in the world and only a very small percentage support ISIS or other terrorist organizations. Many Muslims are U.S. citizens and are as loyal, hardworking and patriotic as all other Americans. Muslims serve in every branch of the United States Military. Today within the United States, many Muslims are afraid in their own homes and neighborhoods. They often live in fear that other Americans may target them for harassment, threats, and in some cases physical harm, because of who they are and where they worship.

As veterans who have served this country both in war and peace-time, we declare that this hatred, verbal abuse, and physical hostility being directed towards our Muslim friends, neighbors and co-workers is not in keeping with the American values of fostering brotherhood and sisterhood with our fellow Americans. This type of bigotry in 2016 is simply unacceptable, Un-American and we call for its immediate end."

www.smedleyvfp.com

Also addressing the crowd included Dr. John Robbins, representing CAIR. He thanked the vets for fighting for our freedom and for their service to our country.

After the speeches, everyone was invited inside for lunch while they had a question and answer session about the Islamic religion. During this time I handed out the flyer for the Aafia mobilization and told her story to everyone who would listen, both Muslim and non-Muslims. Many of the VFP and other activists knew of Aafia while many people, including Muslims, did not know anything about Aafia's story. Everyone was polite and some became downright emotional when they heard of this travesty of justice. Everyone I spoke to promised to find out more, come to the demo, and/or spread the word.

After speaking with me, one brother enthusiastically approached the CAIR representative for his support. I noticed him giving Dr. Robbins my flyer so I walked over to them. The brother asked him if he knew about Aafia's case. Dr. Robbins said, "Yes we know about her" sort of curtly. I said, "I realize CAIR doesn't usually deal with political prisoners." Robbins became very stiff and tall, reminded me of an FBI agent. "We are satisfied with the decision of our nation," he stated and would not say anything more, even though I insisted that this issue is important to our nation first of all because of Constitutional protections - if you can be kidnapped and put into prison without any charges, that is unacceptable. And furthermore, this issue is very important to the Pakistani people and therefore plays a huge role in international relations. Seeing that I wasn't getting anywhere with him I wandered off to VFP president Barry Ladendorf and others who were extremely supportive.

All in all it was a nice experience. It was great to see all my favorite kind of people in one place together. I hope to see more and more of us working together. Since then CAIR seems to be toning down the anti-Aafia rhetoric. Hopefully they will join us in the struggle.

U.S. builds two air bases in Kurdish-controlled north Syria - Kurdish report

AMMAN The United States has nearly finished setting up an air base in Kurdish-controlled northern Syria and was proceeding with the construction of a second base for dual military and civilian use, a Kurdish website said on Sunday.

The Erbil-based news website BasNews, quoting a military source in the Kurdish-backed Syria Democratic Forces (SDF), said most of the work on a runway in the oil town of Rmeilan in Hasaka was complete while a new air base southeast of Kobani, straddling the Turkish border, was being constructed.

The source in the U.S.-backed alliance that also includes Arab armed groups told the news portal scores of U.S. experts and technicians were involved in the project.

Syrian Kurdish officials had recently said the Rmeilan airstrip was being used by U.S. military helicopters for logistics and deliveries.

The United States sent dozens of special operations troops to northern Syria last year to advise opposition forces in their fight against the militant group Islamic State. They have also dropped supply munitions to rebels in the province.

› Russia's Lavrov, U.S. Kerry express optimism over implementation of ceasefire in Syria - reports
UK.Reuters.com/article/uk-mideast-crisis-russia-us-idUKKCN0W80SZ

Last month, U.S. advisors backed by coalition air strikes assisted Kurdish-led Syrian rebels in encircling and capturing the strategic Syrian town of Shadadi from Islamic State but were away from the frontlines, U.S. officials said.

The Syrian Kurds have established control over wide areas of northern Syria since the country erupted into civil war in 2011, and their YPG militia has become a major partner in the U.S.-led coalition against Islamic State.

U.S. military ties with the Syrian Kurds have grown deeper despite the concerns of NATO ally Turkey, which views the Syrian Kurdish PYD party as a terrorist group because of its links to the PKK, which is waging an insurgency in Turkey.

The special U.S. presidential envoy to the coalition against Islamic State, Brett McGurk, visited Kurdish-controlled northern Syria several weeks ago in what appeared to be the first declared trip to Syrian territory by an Obama administration official in three years.

McGurk said on Saturday in Baghdad the coalition was stepping up pressure on Islamic State and that the militants were losing ground in both Syria and Iraq.
