Israel has won over all the Arab Rulers. Does this have any Islamic or Legal Relevance?
by Kaukab Siddique, PhD

Muslims are in a state of shock that UAE and Bahrain have "recognized" Israel. Saudi rulers are getting into secret meetings with Israel and have now cajoled Sudan into joining the renegades. Key states adjoining Israel, such as Egypt and Jordan, are allies of Israel and in fact are defending it from mujahiddeen attacks.

On the other side, Iran and the Lebanese Hizbullah are deeply involved in defending the Assad regime, the mass murderer of the Muslims of Syria, and the sectarian regime in Baghdad. Russia is with Iran and Assad.

Iran talks big but cannot respond even to direct bombing attacks by Israel [a few every week in Syria].. Weakened by its years of military engagement against the Muslims of Syria and Iraq, there is no military juice left in Iran. It is surviving owing to its nationalism and its narcissistic Shiaism which brings its people together.

The only independent Muslim countries are Turkey and Pakistan. Bangladesh is under Indian control.

Pakistan is slipping. These statements that we will not recognize Israel till it recognizes Palestine is a game of words. It means that if Israel accepts a Palestinian state dependent on Israel with Jerusalem open to pilgrims from all three religions, then Pakistan will accept Israel.

Both Allama Iqbal and Maulana Maudoodi had it made it very clear that legitimacy of Israel is not possible because it has occupied Palestine. We have no problem with Jews but occupation of a Muslim country is not acceptable at all according to the Qur'an.

The weakness of the imperialist drama is that the Muslim masses, about two billion of them, do not accept any legitimacy in Israel.

One clear proof of the Muslim legitimacy is that no ruler, be it Sissi or or the brutal crown prince of Saudi Arabia, have dared to ask Muslims in a free referendum if they would accept Israel.

Now is the time for peaceful resistance. The idols are once more in the Ka'aba. Let us follow the Sunnah of Muhammad, pbuh, in Makkah. The natural result will be the Caliphate, inshaAllah.

JI View at Mass Rally. Both PTI and PDM are Western Agents. Imran Broke all his Promises.

Lower Dir- November 29: Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Senator Sirajul Haq has reiterated that the PTI and the PDM are the agents of the status quo and western powers, having only agenda to serve the cause of their masters after coming into power.

Addressing a big rally in Lower Dir on Sunday, he said that people of Pakistan had tested the regimes of the three parties and dictators and were fed up from their policies.

Different mafias, he said, were part of the three parties who backed them to come to power by making huge investment in the elections. After coming into power, he added, the political parties would provide protection to the illegal businesses and corruption of the mafias. The country, he said, was under control of this vicious circle for decades but the time had approached now to break the shackles of corrupt mafias and status quo parties.

The ruling elite, he said, had no interest in welfare of the public as they borrowed money from the international lending agencies only to enslave the nation. Nobody knows, he said, where the billions of dollars of foreign loans had been spent as people were still starving, inflation touched skies and unemployment went rampant.

Senator Siraj criticized the flawed policies of the PTI which came to power by making tall claims to change the destiny of the country. From law and order situation to economy and foreign policy, he said, the Imran Khan government broke all previous records of bad governance. In two and half year, he said, thousands lost their jobs and inflation made the people’s life miserable due to brainless policies of the rulers. Now when the people took the street to send these rulers to home, they were trying to hush the masses up with the fear of crona. Where was crona when the PTI government was holding rallies on government expenditure during Gilgit-Baltistan elections, he asked. He said the government should allow the PDM to hold rally in Multan.

The JI chief warned the government to fix the problems of the public or get ready to go home. He said the JI will hold a long march towards Islamabad if the rulers failed to mend their way.

The Lower Dir mass meeting was the fourth rally of the JI in continuation of its ongoing campaign against inflation, unemployment and interest-based economy. A large number of people holding national and party flags participated the rally and shouted slogans against the government policies.

Pressures: Sustained internal and external pressure is being exerted on Pakistan. India keeps military pressure on the Line of Control (LOC), and diplomatic pressure to isolate Pakistan. It is doing its best to get Pakistan put on FATF blacklist. Intense financial and diplomatic pressure is coming from Saudi Arabia and UAE on Pakistan to recognize Israel and isolate Iran. Internally, the corrupt alliance of rogues and knaves, flush with huge amounts of money is doing its best to destabilize Pakistan so they can save their ill-gotten billions, and even come back to power with the backing of some external power.

Security: In a joint press conference with Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar in Islamabad, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi produced very concrete evidence of Indian hand in terrorism inside Pakistan. They produced phone records and bank transactions. A detailed dossier has been prepared, and copies of the dossier will be sent to the leading powers of the world and the UN. However, nothing is expected to come of it as these nations act in their own interest, and India has strong financial connections with them.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi of PMLN, who was the Prime Minister of Pakistan during the time of the caretaker government, declared that his government had all this information, but he did not believe in making this information public to the world. Seems like the top PMLN leadership had a very soft spot for India, or at least for their investments in India. Once again, the snake of treason comes out of the wild grass of Pakistani “democracy.”

India is reportedly trying to bring various racist groups like Baluch Liberation Army, Jiya Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, etc., under a single umbrella with supposedly Islamist Tehreek e Taliban e Pakistan (TTP) so that they can be co-belligerents against Pakistan, if not allies.

Commentators are saying that the very detailed information that Pakistan is supplying regarding Indian support for terrorism, may mean that Pakistan may have caught a “mota murgha (fat rooster)” of the Indian spy/terrorism network, and who is now “singing like a bird (or crowing like a rooster)”.

Middle East and Turmoil: The main nuclear scientist of Iran was assassinated, probably by Israel. Is the Trump/Netanyahu/Arab thinking of an attack on Iran before the transfer of power to Biden?

UAE reportedly has started a shadow Muslim ban, with Pakistan and Turkey at the top of the list. Reportedly 3000 new visas for Pakistani laborers were cancelled, and supposedly will be given to Indians. Muslim ummah continues to suffer from the depredations of the Caligula of UAE, the Nero of Saudi Arabia, the Firoun of Egypt, and the cannibalistic Dahmer of Damascus (with apologies to Jeffrey Dahmer who could never have approached the evil of the cannibal of Damascus).

A retired Pakistani general and a senior journalist talked about Pakistan recognizing Israel. It seems the retired general got a “come to Jesus (‘do tauba’ in Muslim terminology)” call from the GHQ, and he retracted his comments.

The Political Alliance of Rogues and Knaves: The elections in Gilgit Baltistan were held. Both PPP and PMLN had declared in advance that if they didn’t win then that would mean that the election was rigged . PTI and independents ate PPP/PMLN’s lunch. Out of 24 seats, PTI won 10, independents won 7, PPP 4, PMLN 2, and MWM (Shia party) 1. PPP/PMLN burnt a foot bridge that people used to cross a river, along with some government vehicles. In an Islamic state these “ashrar (mischief makers)” would have been tried for fasad ul ard and crucified by the bridge that they burnt.

Prime Minister Imran Khan asked for an end to political rallies, due to spiking COVID 19 because these political rallies and the funeral of Maulana Khadim Hussain Rizvi are acting as super-spreaders. The Prime Minister cancelled all PTI rallies but the PDM honchos flatly refused. Kind of brings to mind the judgement of Solomon, where when he gave the order to cut the child in half, the true mother screamed that the child be given to the other woman. We can see who cares for the poor people.

A study in hypocrisy is the fact that while the PDM is insistent in having its rallies, all invited guests to Zardari’s daughter’s wedding have to email their COVID test in advance, to be admitted to the reception. Nawaz Sharif’s family has asked its supporters to do “Qul” at home for Nawaz’s mother, and not come to Nawaz’s family palace, to avoid spreading COVID to the Nawaz family.

Nawaz Sharif’s mother passed away in London. Maryam Nawaz complained that the government did not inform her of the death of her grandmother!!!??? No need to try to understand the logic of these privileged entitled perpetual teenagers, who have grown up thinking of Pakistan as their fiefdom.

It needs to be noted that with all his ill-gotten billions, Nawaz Sharif Fedexed his mother’s body to Pakistan. When Imran Khan’s mother died of cancer, he built a state-of-the art cancer hospital in his mother’s name, where the poor are given free cancer treatment.

Economy: Economy is improving and prices are coming down. Note that during PPP/PMLN government Pakistan was importing vegetables and lentils from India. Now that trade with India has been stopped, therefore some of prices of these essential has gone up. PPP/PMLN had made Pakistan an import economy, fueled by out of control borrowing. This is changing.

Funeral: Huge number of people attended the funeral of Maulana Khadim Hussein Rizvi. One commentator called it a referendum on secularism.

Covid and Dogs
[From Br. Ather, excerpted from Daily Mail.]

I want to share a topic about COVID spread by dogs which are valued in the West more than humans. There are about 100 million dogs in USA. They keep dogs not as hunting or guard dog but as pets like children.

How much animals actually spread the virus is still not well understood, although there have been confirmed cases in cats and dogs and the disease ultimately came from bats via another species. Animals do not appear to get sick, however.

The scientists who carried out the study claimed dog owners should be extra careful about hygiene during and after taking their pet outdoors.

But they admitted that the study, which was only done on around 2,000 people linked to one university, rather than a group representing the wider Spanish population, was not detailed enough to prove that it was dog ownership actually increasing people's risk of catching the virus rather than simply them going outdoors.

The study was done by the University of Granada and the Andalusian School of Public Health in Spain. Researchers did a survey of 2,086 people in Spain, some 41 per cent of whom were middle-aged between 40 and 54 years old.

People were asked what they had done during the pandemic and whether they had caught coronavirus, then the scientists compared the result to work out which activities were riskiest. They found 4.7 per cent of the group caught Covid at some point – approximately 98 people.

Activities that were linked to an increased risk of testing positive included accepting supermarket deliveries at home, which raised the risk by 94 per cent and was found to be more dangerous than actually going to the shop.

Synagogue fined $15,000.
A New Beginning?

by Siis. Aisha [Jamaat al-Muslimeen]

New York City - On November 8th, a rabbi threw "secret" wedding, for his grandson in defiance, of the COVID-19 distancing ordinances. The wedding was able to occur via a word-of-mouth campaign. It was held in a 7,000 seat synagogue. The Yetev Lev D'Satmar Synagogue has been fined $15,000 for holding the wedding. Many of the Hasidic attendees were seen without masks and standing shoulder-to-shoulder, on a recently released video. The synagogue also had a cease-and-desist order placed on it and, according to Mayor Bill de Blasio, they will be closed down, permanently, should they violate anymore COVID-19 restrictions.

In other news, recently, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against New York's Governor Andrew Cuomo's COVID-19 restrictions on houses of worship. The primary challenger was the Diocese of Brooklyn. Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio stated that he would indeed challenge Gov. Cuomo's restrictions, in October 2020, and he did. Supreme Court rulings can take years to be heard and ruled on but, this was pretty quick.

No one is denying the seriousness of COVID-19 but, the issue has been in how the government has handled it. Although restrictions had already been lifted for houses of worship since the Supreme Court ruling was made, Bishop DiMarzio stated that they could always be brought back. So, this ruling protects worshippers should the politicians decide to implement further restrictions.

Bishop DiMarzio has stated that there is another hearing on December 18th in the 2nd Circuit Court. He stated that "spiritual health" is important, too, but his church has always observed safety measures to protect parishioners. His argument has been that large churches such as his, which can safely accommodate a few hundred parishioners, should not be limited to any more than 10 people. He also believed that attending religious services should be a choice for the people to make, not the government.

As of November 25, New York State has 6,265 Coronavirus cases and 41 deaths out of 12 million people. Better measures can still be used to defeat COVID-19 such as enforcing quarantines from those coming from overseas. Singapore was very aggressive in quarantining people coming from COVID-19 countries. Many Asian countries are returning to normal life, now. Meanwhile, in the USA and Europe, quarantines are voluntary and it has been proven that not everyone complies.

Will "Israel" be allowed to get away with this International Crime? Ayatollah Khamene'i Condemns Murder of Senior Scientist.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran's supreme leader on Saturday demanded the “definitive punishment” of those behind the killing of a scientist who led Tehran's disbanded military nuclear program, as the Islamic Republic blamed Israel for a slaying that has raised fears of reignited tensions across the Middle East.

After years of being in the shadows, the image of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh suddenly was to be seen everywhere in Iranian media, as his widow spoke on state television and officials publicly demanded revenge on Israel for the scientist's slaying.

Israel, long suspected of killing Iranian scientists a decade ago amid earlier tensions over Tehran’s nuclear program, has yet to comment on Fakhrizadeh's killing Friday. However, the attack bore the hallmarks of a carefully planned, military-style ambush, the likes of which Israel has been accused of conducting before.

The attack has renewed fears of Iran striking back against the U.S., Israel's closest ally in the region, as it did earlier this year when a U.S. drone strike killed a top Iranian general. The U.S. military acknowledged moving an aircraft carrier back into the region, while an Iranian lawmaker suggested throwing out U.N. nuclear inspectors in response to the killing.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called Fakhrizadeh “the country’s prominent and distinguished nuclear and defensive scientist.” Khamenei, who has the final say on all matters of state, said Iran’s first priority after the killing was the “definitive punishment of the perpetrators and those who ordered it.” He did not elaborate.

Speaking earlier Saturday, President Hassan Rouhani blamed Israel for the killing.

“We will respond to the assassination of Martyr Fakhrizadeh in a proper time,” Rouhani said. “The Iranian nation is smarter than falling into the trap of the Zionists. They are thinking to create chaos.”

Both Rouhani and Khamenei said that Fakhrizadeh’s death would not stop the nuclear program. Iran’s civilian atomic program has continued its experiments and now enriches a growing uranium stockpile up to 4.5% purity in response to the collapse of Iran's nuclear deal after the U.S.' 2018 withdrawal from the accord.

That's still far below weapons-grade levels of 90%, though experts warn Iran now has enough low-enriched uranium for at least two atomic bombs if it chose to pursue them.

Analysts have compared Fakhrizadeh to being on par with Robert Oppenheimer, the scientist who led America's Manhattan Project in World War II that created the atom bomb.

Fakhrizadeh headed Iran’s so-called AMAD program that Israel and the West have alleged was a military operation looking at the feasibility of building a nuclear weapon. The International Atomic Energy Agency says that “structured program” ended in 2003. Iran long has maintained its nuclear program is peaceful.

Fakhrizadeh's widow appeared unnamed on state television in a black chador, saying his death would spark a thousand others to take up his work.

Kashmir

Has Pakistan Betrayed or Forgotten Kashmir?
[Via Prof. Ghulam Nabi Fai]

Kashmir, Pakistan and issue of self-determination Professor (Dr.) Imtiaz Khan

November 23, 2020

All these years since the division of Indian sub-continent Pakistan has been considered as exponent for right of self-determination in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) and bulwark against Indian tyranny. People of Kashmir have always looked towards Pakistan with the hope that this is the nation which will enable them to break their shackles of slavery and steer them to the path of freedom from Indian occupation. But in the recent years, some of the enigmatic statements and actions emerging from that country have created serious doubts in the Kashmiri minds. One of the recent examples is the seminar which was conducted at the prestigious venue of Islamabad and addressed by senior most officials of Government of Pakistan. To the utter dismay of all the freedom loving people of Kashmir the topic of discussion was “Restoration of autonomy and peace in IOK”. This is a serious drift from the usual stand taken by the government of Pakistan: which is right of self determination for people of Kashmir as promised by United Nations Security Council resolutions.

This could be dismissed as a lone incident and diplomatic faux pas by the Foreign office of Pakistan. However, there are some recent incidents which present a serious conundrum for people of the region and they remain mystified about the current policies of Pakistani government as regards to Kashmir problem. To quote one or two examples Foreign Minister Qureshi not a longtime ago praised the post 370 abrogation stand taken by Farooq Abdullah. In a very recent interview on GNN TV when asked about Kashmir issue, Prime Minister Imran Khan stated that Indians have started realizing their mistake of abrogating article 370 and they have released some of the Kashmiri leaders. The Prime Minister is totally misinformed and Indians have not shown any such remorse. The fact of the matter is that till today almost all the pro freedom leaders are languishing in Indian jails and only people who have been set free are politicians like Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti who favor accession of Kashmir to India.
They are toxic to the cause and should not be touched even with a barge pole. These politicians are lackeys of Indian government and raise their voices only when they are deprived of plum posts. Once the goal is achieved they happily dance to their tunes and willingly collaborate in the decisions that are highly detrimental to the cause of self-determination. This should be made emphatically clear to higher echelons in the Pakistani government.

There should be a unwavering support for right of self-determination for the Kashmiri people. Under no circumstances the deviation from this stand should be allowed. Freedom of speech should be practiced but not at the cost of national security. In this regard I want to quote the manuscript authored by Dr. Moeed Yusuf who currently serves as National Security Advisor to Government of Pakistan. In this paper Dr. Yusuf states” Our analysis suggests that the dispute may be more ‘ripe’ for resolution today than it has ever been in the past. For the first time in the dispute's history, there is growing convergence over a core element of the solution, i.e. granting autonomy to Kashmiris.” This kind of thought process is highly supportive of previous Indian stand on Kashmir and should be unequivocally castigated, chastised, discouraged. This is a flagrant violation of United Nation’s resolution and any individual in the government or opposition should be issued a public opprobrium for digressing from the official stand of Pakistan

Overall it can be construed that in the recent years Pakistan has exhibited lackadaisical and slapdash approach towards Kashmir problem and it is the demand of the hour that their policies need to undergo radical transformation. It is undeniable that over the years Pakistan has paid immense price both in terms of men and material in fighting for Kashmir cause but over the last several years their actions have been languid and have not proven to be fruitful.

In the prevailing situation we have to do a serious brainstorming to determine the strategy needed to counter this problem. Some of the measures need to be avoided. We should not put all the emphasis on human right issues and ignoring right of self-determination. Human right abuses are the symptoms of struggle for right of self-determination, which is the main ailment. The solution to the problem cannot be attained by addressing the symptoms alone. You have to take care of the ailment.

I want to state that I have been scientific writer since last 25 years. During this period, I have both submitted and reviewed grants. Any proposal which is deemed to cause incremental advancement in the field gets kiss of death. Also the grant which is categorized as overambitious gets triaged. So we need proposals which are well balanced and enable to move the field forward.

Overall we should bring about a paradigm shift as far as this issue is considered. Obviously old strategies have not brought our goals to fruition and new course needs to be adopted. The question which demands strong attention is what steps Pakistan should take which can lead the people of Kashmir to exercise their right to self-determination. Appreciating their limitations, albeit certain of these measures may result in positive outcomes and prove beneficial in the current situation:

A national consensus on Kashmir should be developed in Pakistan including both representatives of government and all opposition parties. This has not happened so far and onus of taking initiative in this direction lies on the party in power. They should set aside there political bickering and speak on this issue with one voice.

There should be both long-term and short-term policy on the issue. Currently it appears that decisions are taken in an arbitrary manner without any road map. “No success without strategy”. Time is of essence and these steps should be taken with minimal delay. Indian government every other day is introducing fresh barbaric laws in IOK.

The mention about Kashmir issue should not be restricted to ceremonial occasions like black day (Oct 27) Kashmir day (Feb. 5) or July 13. I must mention here that at present every day in Kashmir is a “black day”. There should be a round the year plan for Kashmir which may be subjected to change with emerging situation.

Just taking out processions on the streets of major Pakistani cities on ceremonial occasions with sloganeering and chest thumping crowd may not yield tangible results. There should be strong effort to extract support from international community. Foreign Minister of Pakistan should lead a delegation to important countries and acquaint them about the problem and expostulate eloquently about the consequences of leaving this issue unresolved. We should remember during East Pakistan problem in 1971, Indira Gandhi who was the Prime Minister of India at that time took a whirlwind tour of major countries of the world and adequately articulated the case of India in front of these governments.

Time and again we have emphasized that Pakistan should have a special desk on Kashmir in all the major embassies of the be the world so that any new development is communicated rapidly to the foreign offices of these governments. We were informed by the foreign minister Qureshi that such desks exist, but this is not the case in Washington embassy. Based on this information I am highly skeptical about their presence in other countries.

On several occasions Pakistan has been requested to approach and register a case against India at International Court of Justice for crimes against humanity. There is formidable evidence for the crimes like existence of mass graves, use of pellet guns, gang rapes for which India should be held accountable.

Under no circumstances Gilgit Baltistan should be annexed to Pakistan. This will provide unwanted legitimacy to Indian actions and they will throw a full media blitz on this issue.

I am sorry for going overboard as I found to difficult to present my thoughts in limited space. My heart is broken due to the current dilemma we are facing. I remember my father who was ardent lover of the freedom movement. This is during early nineties when the movement was in full steam. One day while sipping tea I found him in a somber mood. When I asked him if everything was okay he told me and I quote “Imtiaz I think I may not live the day when Kashmir attains the freedom but I am sure you will get to set your foot on the land of Kashmir bereft of foreign occupation”. Unfortunately, today the idea of free Kashmir remains a mirage, a distant dream. Let us hope there is a divine intervention and my children get a chance.

Salah and kindness
Nov. 26 and 27. As-salamu alaikum, Salah is a total submission of the hearts and limbs to Allah. If your heart is not in it, the very objective of Salah (linking you to Allah) has been missed.

Keep this in mind, the Prophet (pbuh) said: “Allah directs His Face toward the face of His servant who is praying, as long as he does not turn away” (Tirmidhi).

Remember this in your prayer, and ask Allah to allow you the joy of seeing Him in Paradise.

Oh Allah grant us the sweetness of looking at your Face. And accept our prayers and forgive our sins before we return to you. Ameen.

Prophet Mohammad (pbuh)
“Be kind, for whenever kindness becomes part of something, it beautifies it. Whenever it is taken from something, it leaves it tarnished.”

Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.

O Allah, guide us to the best deeds and the best character. Ameen. .

ETHIOPIA Our Islamic Home IN NEED OF PRAYER
(By Ashira Na'im)

While guns are pointed at each other by "Heads" of Regions with seemingly No resolve, the threat of all out civil war looms over Ethiopia.

Meanwhile, some members of the shoora board of Jamaat al Muslimeen (JAM) and its observors were engaged in developing letters to be sent to both Christian and Muslim leaders of Harar. The purpose of the letters -- to encourage the return of the Sheikh Bazikh Mosque to the original owners, the Muslim community of Harar. Presently that mosque is in the possession of the Christians who have occupied it for 100 years owing to an act of war.

Now these letters from U.S. citizens have to be put on hold while we hear of the killings taking place in the Tigray Region and the threat of all out ethnic war in Ethiopia. Is it possible that we citizens in the US can do anything to lessen the fear and suffering of the people of Ethiopia (Muslims and Christians)? Over the several years of visiting and spending from 3 to 6 months at a time we have formed bonds with brothers and sisters from the North (Tigray) from the Capital City (Addis) from Hawassa (the Southern Nations) from Dessie (Amhara) from Harar (Harari) from my home away from home city Adama (Oromia) and of course from the much visited Capital City (Addis Ababa).

There's too much suffering caused by war in the worlds where the poor are already oppressed: According to FOX News by the Associated Press "Food, fuel, cash and medical supplies have run desperately low. Nearly 1 million people have been displaced, including more than 40,000 who fled into Sudan. Camps home to 96,000 Eritrean refugees in northern Tigray have been in the line of fire."

Yet, Ethiopia Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, justifies the eminent war against the Tigray area because he said the leaders of the Tigray People's Liberation Front, who run the region and dominated Ethiopia's ruling coalition before he came to power in 2018 are inciting unrest and seeking to reclaim power.

As we are entering the end of the day at this writing (Saturday) Ethiopia has begun Sunday morning and there will be news of what has taken place. More on the situation next week. Let us all pray for Peace in Ethiopia!

I remember vividly how these elements raised false alarm on Islamization of Nigeria when the non-interest financial discussion was up at the territory of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). It intrigues me to see people talk and argue on what they have no knowledge; only to talk emotionally!

It was hot to the hearings of enemies of Islam when you say Islamic Banking only in this part of the world, I suppose. Christian Association of Nigeria was almost out of order to discredit the plan for Islamic Banking then. They forgot then that the proponent of this idea was actually a Christian CBN governor, albeit with straight understanding of what Islamic Banking was and what succor it was capable of bringing to the economic lives of all and sundry. Professor Charles Soludo was the architect of Islamic Banking before Sanusi Lamido Sanusi took over from where he stopped as the governor of Central Bank of Nigeria.

This Islamophobia has today shifted goalposts towards the Arabic inscription on our Naira notes. Can you imagine! This is where resources will still be wasted in the name of litigation. CBN is already dragged to court because some unreasonable people and haters of Islam think the Arabic Language on our monies has connection with Islam and, as such , an agenda to islamize Nigeria. This is too shallow for a debate in my thinking. Many non Muslims speak Arabic for Allah's sake!

Whenever I read or hear arguments or discussion tending towards unquenchable hatred for a particular faith from others ( like it is always the case of Nigerian non Muslims, especially CAN), I tend to believe that this union is false; Our resolve to coexist is faked.

Religious leaders that believe in peaceful and harmonious coexistence of people of different faiths should lend their voices instead of allowing matters like this be determined in a law court. Nice enough, I have read from some non Muslim friends condemning the act of asking for such removal . Long live Nigeria .
